Accurate Transformers the flagship company of the Delhi based Accurate group was incorporated on April 18, 1988 as Private Limited Company under the name of Accurate Transformers Private Limited. C.L.Sharma is the chief promoter of the company.
Accurate group which has diversified interest in transformers, overhead line conductors, energy meters, insulating oils & chemicals. Accurate Transformers pioneered the manufacture of Transformers at a time when most electrical equipment was imported. The total personnel strength was then around 50 and Turnover was a mere Rupees One Crore.
The first plant of the company was set up at Ghaziabad.Since then further plants have been added which are situated at Greater Noida , Sikandrabad, Dehradun and Haridwar.
The company was maintaining closely held status till 1995 and came out with its first IPO of Equity Shares of Rs.10 each at a premium of Rs.5 Per Share. The issue was oversubscribed and Pro-rata alotment was made to subscribers.The Equity Shares of the company are listed at BSE, Delhi, Jaipur, Kanpur and Ahmedabad Stock Exchanges.
Accurate Transformers is a Multi Loactional company having its Plants at Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Dehradun, Sikandrabad and Haridwar. Accurate Tansformers continues to grow from strength to strength. By building on diverse engineering and managerial capabilities, it is now amongst the foremost manufacturers of Power and Distribution Transformers.
Accurate Transformers is a dynamic organisation and there are ongoing efforts to keep pace with relevant technological changes. These are intended not only to expand current capabilities, but also to continuously enhance already established standards of quality Transformers.
Product range of the company includes:
Power transformers - Power transformers above 10MVA, 33KV class and upto 50MVA, 132KV class are manufactured in Greater Noida unit with present installed annual capacity of 2500MVA. ATL have already supplied over 30 Nos of 132KV class transformers, which are running successfully at various substations across the country. The first 40MVA, 132/33KV ‘Accurate Make’ transformer installed at Greater Noida sub station of UPPCL, has already completed 4 years of service after successful commissioning in year 2004.
Power Transformers ranging from 3.15MVA to 10MVA in 11 & 33KV Class are manufactured at our plant in Haridwar. The total installed annual capacity of this plant is 2000MVA. ATL has an installed base of over 3000 power transformers across the country in this range.
Distribution transformers - Distribution transformers in the range 5KVA to 2500KVA, 11KV Class are manufactured at our units located in Haridwar and Dehradun. The total installed base is well over 1.5 Lakh transformers in this range. We are also manufacturing ‘star rated’ transformers that are designed for extremely low losses
