About Schneider Electric President Systems Ltd

APW President Systems incorporated in 1984, is manufacturer that offer enclosures, accessories and a range of solutions from world-class technology partnerships. Since the company's business spread is across different segments of the user industry, a downturn in one segment is cushioned by off-take in other segments.

The company is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of standard and customized enclosure systems in India and has been the market leader for over 27 years in 19-inch enclosures for IT and Telecom infrastructure, systems management and operations.

The company caters to three major business segments: enclosure systems, contract manufacturing and trading activities -- all with a focus on the IT/networking and ITeS, telecom, general and industrial electronics sectors.

APW President Systems has also been expanding its customer base in the Middle East region. The company's business is focused on telecom, IT/ITeS and general electronics sectors.

Its Engineering Resources Centre (ERC) provides design and engineering facilities supported by Pro-E, and other design tools, for designing its products.

With a total of 1,65,500 sq ft of fully-equipped modern manufacturing space in India, it has capacity to manufacture up to 60,000 enclosures, 70,000 card frames and 30,000 instrument cases each year.

It also operates a nationwide network of sales offices, representatives and distributors to support its customers in order to offer assistance for installation, commissioning and on-going services.

APW President’s manufacturing facilities at Bangalore are equipped with state-of-the-art CNC turret presses, press brakes, robotic welding, as well as matching equipment for surface preparation and decorative finishes. All operations are controlled in-house through a full-fledged computer aided manufacturing system.

Further it has added a state-of-the-art powder coating plant in Pune, which includes a conveyorised environment-friendly spray pre-treatment process, and a fully automated powder coating system. This facility ensures highly consistent quality levels.

APW President’s two factories have received ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2000 certifications.

The President brand has been established not only across India, but in overseas markets as well. The company’s products are shipped to 20 countries, including the Middle East, Australia, USA, Singapore, UK, France, Italy, Poland, Netherlands, Germany and China.
