The company’s principal activity is to manufacture electrical items. It operates in two segments -- trading and manufacturing. The trading segment has dealership in electrical items. The manufacturing segment manufactures electrical items like control panels, switch gears, capacitors, wires, cables and others. During 2008, the Group discontinued its property development business.

From its inception the company has been obsessed with  one  word-quality --  whether  it be a product to be delivered or a service to be rendered. Because of this  commitment  Dhandapani  enjoys the patronage of thousands of satisfied  industrial customers drawn from a wide spectrum -- steel, cement, paper, sugar, textile, chemical, automobile, IT, railways, etc.

Different divisions of the company:

Capacitor division manufactures LT Power Capacitors, AC Capacitors, Automatic Power Factor Correction Panels & Harmonic Filter Reactors.

Manufacturing division manufactures LT Motor Control Centers (MCC), Power Control Centers (PCC), Bus Ducts & Control Panels.

Trading division -- it is a distributor for Siemens & GE Switchgear Products, Motors, Finolex & Lapp High Quality Industrial & House Wiring Cables.

Products and services offered by the company:

Electrical items like control panels, switch gears, capacitors, wires, cables, LT Power Capacitors, AC Capacitors, Automatic Power Factor Correction Panels & Harmonic Filter Reactors and others.

The company also provides:
