Wellpack Papers & Containers Ltd (WPPCL) was incorporated on October 17, 1994. It is one of the leading producers of high quality paper products in India, having contemporary manufacturing equipments along with a strong dedicated team. It started corrugated box manufacturing in the year 1985 in the name of Wellpack Packaging, a partnership firm with an installed capacity of 1000 MT per annum. This was then increased to 2400 MT p.a. during 1990-91.
It achieved a capacity utilisation of 84% in the year 1993-94 and has been able to maintain the same till now. Kraft paper proposed to be manufactured under the company's present backward integration program is the basic raw material required for the production of corrugated boxes that Wellpack manufactures at present.
The firm was converted into a joint stock company on August 1,1994 end it receIved the certificate of incorporation on the 17th of October 1994. The assets of the partnership concern were revalued on July 31 1994 the details of which are mentioned below under the head 'Revaluation of Assets'.
Well Pack Papers and Containers Limited introduced clean and eco-friendly technology in the plant as it believes in environment and safety. Hence, it is awarded with ISO 14001 certification from the government of Gujarat. Its aim is to leave a green foot to the coming generations.
Its manufacturing unit complies with all the rules and regulations of Indian government to protect health, safety and environment. The manufacturing unit comprises of latest fire fighting equipment and personal protective equipment.

Paper- WPPCL deals in wide range of kraft paper and absorbent kraft paper. The products find innumerable application in the production of works like corrugated boxes & base paper for decorative laminated sheets. They are not only manufactured from the best raw materials but they are material used in their production are eco friendly as well. The company specialized in the manufacturing as well as supplying of high bf kraft paper in the market. They are made available in quite a comprehensive range of quality and specification.
Laminates- Its vried range of laminates is available in exciting colours, shades and innovative textures. It is created from 100% virgin A grade pulp craft paper using unique metashield technology, and with the highest abrasion, heat and electricity resistance
