About Chetak Spintex Ltd

Chetak Spintex was incorporated on May 11, 1988 vide certificate of incorporation No. 55-31651 of 1988-89 as a public limited company and obtained certificate of commencement of business on July 5, 1988. The company started its activities with trading of polypropylene yarn. In 1990, the activities of the company were diversified for the production polypropylene-draw-textured yarn at their Village Bakhapur, Teh. Bawal, District Rewari, Haryana with an installed capacity of 273 MTs per annum based on 90 denier count.

In 1991, the company under an expansion programme, set up facilities for twisting of polypropylene yarn. The company is operating at 90% capacity utilization. There has been no cost overrun in either of the above cases of diversification/expansion. There was no time overrun in the first diversification project. There was a time overrun of two months in the expansion project.
