Prudential Sugar Corporation’s board of directors at its meeting held on May 22, 2014, has reviewed the business operations of the company’s sugar factory and discussed the proposal relating to expansion and diversification into new areas of business including Renewable Energy. The board after due deliberations, has approved the MoU entered into by the company in this regard.
Prudential Sugar Corporation is engaged in the manufacture of white crystal sugar. The company is having a fully integrated manufacturing unit at Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh with an installed capacity of 2,500 TCD.
