International Combustion gains on receiving approval to set up new SBU

International Combustion (India) is currently trading at Rs 248.00, up by 0.15 points or 0.06% from its previous closing of Rs 247.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 242.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs 252.30 and Rs. 242.50 respectively. So far 2741 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 250.55 on 11-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs 101.00 on 02-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 250.55 and Rs 223.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 58.32 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.01% and 46.99% respectively.

International Combustion (India) has received an approval for setting up of a new Strategic Business Unit (SBU) for the dry mortar business. The board of directors at its meeting held on June 11, 2014 has approved for the same.

This development is however subject to the necessary approval for the alterations/additions to the objects clause of the memorandum of association of the company by the shareholders of the company at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.

International Combustion (India) set up a plant in 1963 to manufacture capital equipment like grinding mills, mechanical vibrators, small-size feeders, pulverisers and pumps, etc, for the mineral beneficiation industry, and core sector industries like thermal power plants, steel plants, fertiliser plants, etc.
