PVR has opened two Multiplexes at ‘4 D Square Mall, Motera, Ahmadabad’ and ‘Laxmi Pride Cinema, Hubli, Karnataka’. PVR's four screens multiplex at 4D Square Mall, Motera, Ahmadabad comprising of 1102 seats and fitted with latest Sound and Projection System has become operational from June 30, 2014. The company has also added four screens multiplex at Laxmi Pride Cinema, Hubli, Karnataka comprising of 890 seats and fitted with latest Sound and Projection System.
With the addition of two new Multiplexes as aforesaid, the total screens count has gone upto 444 Screens at 101 Locations across 43 Cities in 14 States and 1 Union Territory. These additions are part of the company's organic growth strategy of PAN India expansion and increasing its presence in major cities.
PVR is engaged in the business of film exhibition. The company operates other business such as providing content, film distribution and Entertainment Park through its subsidiaries. Currently, the company has achieved the status of being India’s largest cinema chain.
