Ashok Leyland is all set to launch ‘Jan Bus’ in Kolkata on July 30. The company has also lined up a number of new launches this fiscal which include variants of Bus and more of Captain. Further, the company is also looking at launching variants of its small commercial vehicle Dost, PARTNER 4 Tyre, Neptune engine.
Recently, the company reported net loss of Rs 47.95 crore for the quarter under review as compared to a net loss of Rs 141.75 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. The company’s total income has increased by 5.25% to Rs 2500.92 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 2376.07 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
