Oriental Bank of Commerce reports 3% rise in Q1 net profit

Oriental Bank of Commerce has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2014.

The bank’s net profit for the quarter rose by 3.15% at Rs 364.54 crore as compared to Rs 353.38 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Its total income has increased by 6.09% to Rs 5576.02 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 5255.70 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal stood at 4.33%, as compared to 3.36% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, bank’s Net NPA stood at 3.11% in Q1FY15.
