Arvind inches up on business arm introducing fashion store in Hyderabad

Arvind is currently trading at Rs. 75.30, up by 0.10 points or 0.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 75.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 75.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 76.20 and Rs. 73.55 respectively. So far 3,05,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 111.15 on 01-Nov-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 51.15 on 10-Feb-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 76.20 and Rs. 63.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,917.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.42% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.52% and 24.85% respectively.

Arvind’s business unit, Megamart, the branded apparel manufacturer and retail chain has introduced a 20,000 sq ft fashion store in the busy Chikkadpally area of the Hyderabad city. The store will be a home to over 100 Indian and international brands with its proposition of ‘mega savings and offers' throughout the year.

JHP London has designed the store. Recently, Megamart has added Mossimo, America's designer youth wear brand and very soon it will be adding Geoffrey Beene, the American designer formal wear brand. This will make Megamart the only retail destination for truly international brands at value prices.
