Chemfab Alkalis has restarted its Plants located at Kalapet and Puducherry after completing revamping work. Both the plants are now in Operation. The company had earlier shut-down its plants for about a week from August 12, 2014, on account of the revamping activities, for replacement of certain old machineries / equipments.
Chemfab Alkalis is promoted by Titanium Equipment and Anode Manufacturing Company. It is the first company in the country to manufacture Barium Sulphate from solid waste and holds a patent for manufacture of the same.
