PVR Ltd is evaluating proposals to acquire a cinema chain in the country though talks are at its primitive stage.

The talks with DT Cinemas, owned by India’s top realtor DLF, have though not been revived yet. Earlier this year, PVR and DT Cinemas had mutually agreed to end a deal struck in November to buy DLF’s cinema exhibition business.
