Pricol shines on executing BTA for sale of non-core business

Pricol is currently trading at Rs. 60.15, up by 2.05 points or 3.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 58.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 58.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 62.25 and Rs. 58.50 respectively. So far 109965 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 69.20 on 22-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 17.00 on 30-Sep-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 69.20 and Rs. 54.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 560.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.18% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.16% and 51.66% respectively.

Pricol has executed a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with Suprajit Engineering, Bangalore for sale of company’s Automotive Speedo Cable Business (a non-core business) which had estimated annual sales of Rs 100 million, on a slump sale basis.

Pricol is engaged in the manufacture and export of a complete range of automotive components starting from instrument clusters, dashboard meters, fuel sensors, oil pressure switches, speedometer drive cables, fuel cut off valve, filter suction, etc.
