Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, has reported a 27% increase in September sales at 9,193 vehicles, as against 7,232 sold in same month year ago. In September 2014, the sales of its Large Commercial Vehicle (LCV) products witnessed a growth of 2% to 2,572 units as compared to 2,517 units sold in the same month of last year.
The sales of its overall Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) witnessed 40% rise to 6,621 units from 4,715 units sold in the same month of last year.
