Clariant Chemicals (India) has opened its first regional innovation centre (RIC) in India at its headquarters in Navi Mumbai. The new facility will host about 100 technical employees in chemical research and application development.
The RIC bundles research, application development and analytical laboratories, critical business functions and technical marketing under one roof. With its close proximity to regional customers, the RIC India would facilitate cross-fertilisation of ideas, and accelerate Clariant’s innovative efforts toward delivering fast and tailor made solutions.
Clariant Chemicals (India) represents a valuable repository of manufacturing and marketing experience. Its constituents were all well respected companies who played an invaluable role in the development of the textiles, leather, paints, plastics, printing inks and agrochemicals industries in India.
