Atul reports 6% growth in Q2 net profit

Atul has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.

The company has posted a rise of 6.35% in its net profit at Rs 59.07 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 55.54 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 12.76% at Rs 670.97 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 595.03 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.

Atul is a member of Lalbhai Group, one of the oldest business houses of India, with interests mainly in textiles and chemicals. The Group is strongly committed to serve the society in the fields of education, health as well as culture. The company operates through six business divisions, namely, Agrochemicals, Aromatics, Bulk Chemicals & Intermediates, Colors, Pharmaceuticals & Intermediates and Polymers.
