Kaveri Seed Company has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.
The company has posted over three and a half fold jump in its net profit after tax at Rs 32.59 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 9.01 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has surged 90.69% at Rs 186.13 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 97.61 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.
On consolidated basis, the company’s net profit after taxes and minority interest for the quarter under review jumped around four fold at Rs 33.52 crore against Rs 8.86 crore in the September quarter of previous fiscal. The company’s total income has nearly doubled at Rs 208.39 crore for the quarter from Rs 104.49 crore in the similar quarter of previous year.
