Punj Lloyd, an engineering and construction group of India, will foray into power transmission and distribution (T&D) business and the company is also preparing a blueprint for the same. The company has taken this step after government’s initiative to build independent transmission projects.
Punj Lloyd provides engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and project management services. It provides services to oil and gas, energy, infrastructure petrochemical, telecom broadband and utilities sectors, among others.
