Arvind trades in fine fettle on BSE

Arvind is currently trading at Rs. 292.95, up by 2.05 points or 0.70% from its previous closing of Rs. 290.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 290.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 293.70 and Rs. 285.65 respectively. So far 186704 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 341.40 on 16-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 119.00 on 16-Dec-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 303.20 and Rs. 273.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7538.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.45 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.86 % and 18.56 % respectively.

Arvind would conduct a court convened shareholders' meeting to discuss demerger of realty business on January 7, 2014. The largest integrated textile and branded apparel player from Gujarat - Arvind -has decided to demerge it's real-estate business and transfer it to the company's wholly owned subsidiary Arvind Infrastructure (AIL).

AIL, manages 11 real-estate projects in Ahmedabad and Bangalore with 5.3 million square feet over 360 acres of land. The demerger will allow Arvind to deploy its resources fully in its core activities and allow AIL to raise further capital and debt as required for its growth.
