BHEL has been conferred the PSE Excellence Award 2014 for R&D and Technology Development in the Maharatna & Navratna CPSEs Category by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The award was received by B Prasada Rao, CMD, BHEL from the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Ram Naik, in the presence of the Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, G.M. Siddeshwara.
BHEL is engaged in the design, engineering, manufacture, construction, testing, commissioning and servicing of a wide range of products, systems and services for the core sector companies in the field of power, transmission, transportation, renewable energy, oil and natural gas and defence.
