DCB Bank gains on reporting 17% rise in Q3 net profit

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs. 120.50, up by 1.35 points or 1.13 % from its previous closing of Rs. 119.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 121.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 121.95 and Rs. 120.20 respectively. So far 211171 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 127.00 on 13-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 49.70 on 30-Jan-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 127.00 and Rs. 116.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3401.07 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.41 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.79 % and 43.80 % respectively.

DCB Bank has registered a rise of 16.88% in its net profit after tax at Rs 42.5 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 36.36 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased 24.97% at Rs 404.49 crore for Q3FY15 as compared Rs 323.65 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) improved to 1.87% in the October- December quarter as against 2.77% in the same quarter previous year, while net NPAs stood to 1%.
