NTPC BHEL Power Projects (NBPPL), a joint venture (JV) of NTPC and BHEL, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with APGenco for supply of spare parts for coal and ash handling plants and other equipment required by the Andhra Pradesh power utility’s thermal power plants.
Through this arrangement the spare parts for APGenco power plants can be arranged quickly and thereby minimize the forced outages.
NBPPL was set up by the two public sector Maharatna companies to establish a power plant components manufacturing facility at Mannavaram in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
