Amtek Auto reports 9% fall in Q1 net profit

Amtek Auto has reported results for first quarter ended December 31, 2014.

The company has registered a fall of 9.26% in its net profit at Rs 70.81 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 78.04 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 24.57% at Rs 1118.94 crore for quarter under review as compared Rs 898.24 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013.

Amtek Auto manufactures components such as connecting rod assemblies, flywheel ring gears and assembly, steering knuckles, suspension and steering srms, CV joints, crankshaft assemblies and torque links. It is backed by in-house design and development facilities engaged in developing new product and processes.
