ING Vysya Bank gains on receiving CCI approval for merger with KMBL

ING Vysya Bank is currently trading at Rs. 927.00, up by 12.80 points or 1.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 914.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 931.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 945.00 and Rs. 925.45 respectively. So far 1,685 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1009.90 on 13-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 521.05 on 03-Mar-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 945.00 and Rs. 904.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10,652.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.51% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.18% and 15.31% respectively.

ING Vysya Bank has received approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) for the proposed combination in the nature of merger of ING Vysya Bank with Kotak Mahindra Bank (KMBL) under Section 31 (1) of the Competition Act, 2002.

ING Vysya Bank has registered a fall of 12.94% in its net profit after tax at Rs 145.69 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2014 under review as compared to Rs 167.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased 13.81% at Rs 1693.30 crore for Q3FY15 as compared Rs 1487.85 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) increased to 1.86% in the October- December quarter as against 1.68% in the same quarter previous year, while net NPAs stood at 0.66%.
