Oberoi Group firm EIH Associated Hotels has reported a marginal increase of 0.60% in net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2011, to Rs 10.02 crore. The company's net profit for the three months ended December 31, 2010, stood at Rs 9.96 crore.
The firm’s net sales increased by 5.28% to Rs 58.94 crore during the third quarter of the current financial year from Rs 55.98 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
The company is into the business of running luxury hotels in India. The Oberoi group which holds the controlling stake in the company, owns or manages 33 hotels and luxury cruisers in five countries under the Oberoi Hotels and Resorts and Trident brands.
