Ashok Leyland, the commercial vehicle manufacturer, has reported an increase of 24% in sales in March 2015 to 12,754 units as against 10,281 units sold in the same period of last year. The company has experienced a rise of 30% in its medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) products segment to 10,027 units in March. The company’s light commercial vehicle (LCV) witnessed a rise of 6% to 2,727 units in March 2015. Sales for April 2014-March 2015 period went up 17% over previous year period to 104,902 units.
