B K Birla Group company Kesoram Industries has transferred its Uttarakhand tyre unit to its subsidiary -- Cavendish Industries -- at a value of Rs 2,800 crore. The transfer is effective from April 1, 2015.
Kesoram Industries is engaged in the manufacture of cement, tyres, tubes, rayon, paper, heavy chemicals and spun pipes. The company is also listed on Societe de la Bourse de Luxembourg stock exchange.
