Clariant Chemicals (India), a world leader in Specialty Chemicals, has decided to sell its Industrial Consumer Specialist (ICS) business to Clariant India on a going concern basis for a total consideration of Rs 42 crore. The board of company at its meeting held on April 22, 2015 has approved for the same.

Clariant Chemicals (India) represents a valuable repository of manufacturing and marketing experience. Its constituents were all well respected companies who played an invaluable role in the development of the textiles, leather, paints, plastics, printing inks and agrochemicals industries in India.
