Clariant Chemicals (India) has acquired 718,600 shares of Asahi Songwon Colors at market price of Rs 92.50 per share in block deal. The shares are of Rs 10 each representing 5.86% of the paid up equity share capital of Asahi Songwon Colors.

Its constituents were all well respected companies who played an invaluable role in the development of the textiles, leather, paints, plastics, printing inks and agrochemicals industries in India.
