Khaitan Electricals gains despite suspending operations at its Kolkata Works

Khaitan Electricals is currently trading at Rs. 38.05, up by 0.05 points or 0.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 38.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 40.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 40.80 and Rs. 35.25 respectively. So far 738 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 96.15 on 23-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 25.25 on 30-Mar-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 41.80 and Rs. 35.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 43.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.17% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.39% and 42.44% respectively.

Khaitan Electricals has suspended operations at its Kolkata Works located at P-10, Transport Depot Road, for reducing overhead costs and achieving economies in operations. All the workers dues have been settled.

The production facility at Kolkata Works has been shifted to the company's Hyderabad Works situated at 129, Sri Venkateswara Co-op. Industrial Estate IDA, Bollaram and Faridabad Works situated at Plot No. 14, Sector - 6, Faridabad.
