Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has reported result for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2015.

The company has posted a fall of 51.84% in its net profit at Rs 888.35 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 1844.59 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 17.09% at Rs 12702.05 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 15320.38 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.

For the year ended March 31, 2015, the company has posted a fall of 58.99% in its net profit at Rs 1419.29 crore as compared to Rs 3460.78 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of the company also decreased by 23.84% at Rs 31017.01 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 40724.86 crore for the period ended March 31, 2014.

For the year ended March 31, 2015, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 58.54% in its net profit after tax at Rs 1452.38 crore as compared to Rs 3502.86 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company decreased by 23.21% at Rs 31631.24 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 41192.43 crore for the period ended March 31, 2014.
