Mahindra Satyam creeps up on inking pact with Japan's SBI Holdings

Mahindra Satyam is currently trading at Rs 74.40, up by 0.20 points or 0.27% from its previous closing of Rs 74.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 75.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs 76.00 and Rs 73.00 respectively. So far 1906607 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 94.20 on 05-Jul-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs 59.05 on 28-Feb-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 76.90 and Rs 71.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 8808.26 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.65 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.28% and 30.12% respectively.

Mahindra Satyam, a leading global consulting, IT and business services provider and SBI Holdings, Inc. (SBIH), have inked pact to launch a joint fund aimed at investing in ICT companies globally.

The total size of the proposed fund will be $50 million with equal contribution from both. The fund will be subject to regulatory and other approvals. The objective of the fund is to help leapfrog the innovation curve by investing in high growth and promising companies in the evolving ICT space.

SBIH is a leading global internet based financial conglomerate and Japan's largest venture capital private equity house, currently managing more than $3 billion.
