ITC soars as its arm acquires entire stake of BFIL

ITC is currently trading at Rs. 311.85, up by 6.70 points or 2.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 305.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 306.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 312.30 and Rs. 305.00 respectively. So far 258155 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 409.70 on 28-Feb-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 294.50 on 15-Jun-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 312.30 and Rs. 294.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 250284.60 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.48% and 44.27% respectively.

ITC’s wholly owned subsidiary - Russell Credit, has acquired the entire subscribed and paid-up equity share capital of Rs 20 crore of BFIL Finance (BFIL), another wholly owned subsidiary of the company. Consequently, BFIL has ceased to be a direct subsidiary of the company with effect from June 18, 2015.

ITC has business a interests in cigarettes, hotels, paperboards and specialty papers, packaging, agri-business, packaged foods and confectionery, information technology, branded apparel, personal care, stationery, safety matches and other FMCG products.
