SKF India has reported results for fourth quarter ended December 31, 2011.
The company has posted a fall of 8.20% in its net profit of Rs 4.03 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 4.39 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has surged by 10.91% from Rs 54.15 crore for Q4FY11 to Rs 60.06 crore in the quarter under review.
SKF makes products for a range of sectors including automobiles, aerospace, wind energy, construction and industrial transmission. The firm, which follows the calendar year as its financial year, is spending about Rs 160 crore to expand capacity and is ramping up operations at a plant in Pune.
