Mysore Petro Chemicals restarts production of Phthalic Anhydride

Mysore Petro Chemicals’ Phthalic Anhydride (PA) plant at Raichur in Karnataka has restarted production of PA from February 18, 2012 and has stabilized operations. Last year in November, the company had shut down the plant in view of the unfavourable market condition.

Mysore Petro Chemicals is engaged in the manufacture and sale of chemicals. Its products include phthalicanhydride and maleicanhydride. The company had installed capacity to produce 12,000 metric tonnes of PA and 5,400 metric tonnes of MA. Mysore Petro Chemicals PA plant is located at Raichur District, Karnataka, and its MA plant is located at Taloja, Maharashtra.
