Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have reduced shareholding in AIA Engineering by 325 basis points to 21 percent at the end of June 2015 from 24.25 percent as on March 31, 2015. Moreover, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have also decreased its stake in the company by 11 basis points to 6.31 percent at the end of June 2015 from 6.42 percent as on March 31, 2015.
Non institutions were holding 11.04 percent stake at the end of June 2015, up 336 basis points from 7.68 percent as on March 31, 2015, while corporate bodies were holding 3.42 percent stake at the end of June 2015, up 97 basis points from 2.45 percent as on March 31, 2015.
AIA Engineering is engaged in business of designing, developing, manufacturing, installing and servicing of high chromium wear, corrosion and abrasion resistant parts. These products are mainly used by cement, mining and thermal power generation industries.
