DCB Bank reports 5% rise in Q1 net profit

DCB Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2015.

The bank’s net profit for the quarter jumped by 5% at Rs 46.87 crore as compared to Rs 44.64 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014. The bank’s total income has increased by 20.88% at Rs 467.44 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 386.69 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal stood at 1.96%, as compared to 1.78% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, the bank’s Net NPA stood at 1.22% in Q1FY16 as compared to 0.97% in the same quarter of the previous year.
