DCB Bank declines on disappointing Q1 results

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs 133.50, down by 8.00 points or 5.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 141.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 137.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 137.90 and Rs. 132.25 respectively. So far 541428 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 150.90 on 14-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 76.30 on 11-Aug-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 150.90 and Rs. 129.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3809.61 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.33% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.16 % and 44.51 % respectively.

DCB Bank’s net profit for first quarter ended June 30, 2015 jumped by 5% at Rs 46.87 crore as compared to Rs 44.64 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014. The bank’s total income has increased by 20.88% at Rs 467.44 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 386.69 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The bank’s asset quality worsened as gross NPA climbed to 1.96 percent in June quarter from 1.76 percent in March quarter and 1.78 percent in the year-ago period. Besides, the bank’s Net NPA stood at 1.22% in Q1FY16 as compared to 0.97% in the same quarter of the previous year.
