Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2015.

The company has reported a fall of 82.49% in its net profit at Rs 33.89 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 193.5 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has decreased by 11.79% to Rs 4854.07 crore for the quarter under review, from Rs 5502.76 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

BHEL is the largest engineering and manufacturing organization of its kind in the country. It is also among the world's few integrated power plant equipment manufacturers with the capability to manufacture the entire range / type of power equipment and also to undertake projects on EPC basis.
