Hinduja Foundries to close Ductron Castings Unit

Hinduja Foundries has decided to close its Ductron Castings Unit located near Hyderabad. This step has been taken pursuant to the restructuring initiative undertaken to improve the company’s overall profitability and performance, which was accepted substantially by all the employees of the unit. The forging company has been asked by Telangana to surrender the land allotted to it for a Greenfield project in Medak district.

Hinduja Foundries was established in 1959, when the Indian automotive industries started growing. Hinduja Foundry is the first largest automobile-jobbing foundry in India and is part of Hinduja Group.
