Yes Bank leads the BSE “Bankex” space

Yes Bank is currently trading at Rs.352.70, up by 12.65 points or 3.72% from its previous closing of Rs 340.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 341.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 356.40 and Rs 340.40 respectively. So far 307440 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 374.00 on 15-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 230.55 on 02-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 356.40and Rs 318.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 12434.79 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 26.21% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 59.90% and 13.89% respectively.

The other gainers on BSE “Bankex” space were Federal Bank up by 3.35%, IDBI Bank up by 2.70%, Axis Bank up by 2.58%, Kotak Mahindra Bank up by 2.31% and ICICI Bank up by 2.01%.

Recently, Yes Bank,in association with CARE India, a humanitarian relief and development NGO working in India for more than 60 years, has launched India’s first social deposit account (SDA). Yes Bank and CARE India have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) to make this facility available, exclusively for the bank’s customers.

The social deposit account (SDA) is an evolution of the regular fixed deposit account where customers have the option of donating their interest income to a social cause through CARE India. The SDA formalizes the act of philanthropic giving in India by providing a highly transparent and accountable channel to regularly donate and participate in the development of the nation, whilst enjoying fantastic interest returns on deposits.
