Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) has completed the acquisition of the Chlor-Alkali Division of Jayshree Chemicals comprising of Caustic Soda manufacturing unit at Ganjam (Odisha) and Salt manufacturing facility at Pundi (Andhra Pradesh) and henceforth the said division is part and unit of the Company and unit at Ganjam has been named as Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) - Ganjam Chemical Division.

Aditya Birla Chemicals is a leading manufacturer of bulk and specialty chemicals and viscose filament yarn. The business is spread across multiple manufacturing locations in four countries - India, Thailand, Germany and China.
