Karur Vysya Bank has reported results for the quarter and the year ended March 31, 2011
The bank’s net profit for the fourth quarter has surged 16.56% at Rs 115.29 crore as compared to Rs 98.91 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. Its total income has rose by 33.95% at Rs 695.37 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 519.14 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.
The bank has registered a growth of 23.67% in its net profit for the year ended March 31, 2011 at Rs 415.59 crore as compared to Rs 336.03 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010. Its total income has increased by 23.80% at Rs 2482.02 crore for the year from Rs 2004.92 crore in previous year.
Karur Vysya Bank has recommended dividend of 120% or Rs 12 per share on the face value of Rs 10 each for the year 2010-11.
