Nava Bharat Ventures’ 50 MW Turbine power plant at Paloncha in state of Telangana after renovation and overhaul, is expected to restart its operations by October 25, 2015 with improved turbine heat rate and efficiency of the unit. The 50 MW Turbine was taken up for renovation and overhaul with effect from August 24, 2015 as scheduled.
Initially, it was expected to complete the renovation and restart the operations by October 15, 2015. The renovation works are being continued and are now expected to be completed by October 24, 2015 due to increased volume of technical work.
