BHEL bags Rs 5,040 crore contract from Jindal Power

State run Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has bagged Rs 5,040 crore contract from Jindal Power for setting up 2,400 Mw power plant in Chhattisgarh. BHEL would install four units of 600 mw each in O P Jindal super thermal power plant at Raigarh in Chhattisgarh. BHEL's scope of work in the contract includes designs, engineering, manufacture, supply and erection of boilers, turbines, generators and associated auxiliary.
