Bimetal Bearings has informed that due to continuous torrential down pour at Chennai the production activities at Company’s factories at Sembium and Thoraipakkam could not be carried out and due to water logging and some portions of raw materials and finished goods were inundated. Their stocks are adequately insured and the Company will be preferring claim on the Insurance Company in due course after ascertaining the exact quantum of loss. The Company has taken steps and the production activities at the plants have been restored.
