HDFC Bank advances on raising Rs 2,975 crore through debentures

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1064.00, up by 6.85 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 1057.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1065.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1065.00 and Rs. 1062.00 respectively. So far 3,542 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1127.90 on 21-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 916.45 on 17-Dec-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1065.00 and Rs. 1040.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2,67,954.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 21.57% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.35% and 16.30% respectively.

HDFC Bank has issued and allotted on a private placement basis Senior, Unsecured, Redeemable, Long Term, Non-Convertible Bonds in the nature of debentures amounting to Rs 2,975  crore (29,750 Bonds of face value Rs 10,00,000 each).

The bank has posted a rise of 20.49% in its net profit at Rs 2869.45 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 2381.46 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 24.68% at Rs 17324.28 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 13894.73 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
