Punj Lloyd had bagged a civil contract worth Rs 210 crore for a thermal power project from NTPC for its power plant in Assam. Punj Lloyd will undertake balance offloaded work for the power plant in Bongaigaon district of lower Assam. The project is scheduled for commissioning by 2014. The scope of work entails underground civil work, piling and foundations for over ground civil, structural and architectural work for the buildings of the plant among others. With this contract, the order book of the company has gone up to Rs 25,409 crore.crack crack
