Skipper, a power transmission tower and pole maker, has set up a galvanising plant in Uluberia (West Bengal). The galvanising plant is meant for structures which are 2.5 m in diameter and 12 m in length. The plant would have a galvanising capacity of 8,000 tonnes per month.
Skipper is engaged in structural fabrication and manufacturing of mild steel and galvanized iron pipes, steel tubular poles, scaffolding and accessories and PVC pipes. Structural fabrication is the major contributor to the revenue of the company.
